Graduated from The Amsterdam Theatre School in 2003. Performed, wrote and directed a variety of theater performances across the Nederlands and Belgium. From intimate black box productions to grand stages like Royal Theatre Carré for Monty Python’s Spamalot (BE+NL) and Radamès in Verdi’s Aïda with Dutch National Opera & Ballet.
Voice-actor
I regularly work as a voice-over actor. I am honored to be the voice of Vincent van Gogh for the Van Gogh Museum for over ten years already. I also narrate children’s books and lend my voice to various commercials and online videos. Additionally, I am the voice behind several videos for satirical platform De Speld.
I have my own professional recording studio, which allows me to deliver high-quality audio recordings directly to clients all over the world.
Acting Awards
In 2012 Bob won ‘Best Actor’ at Delta Shorts / Film by the Sea for his lead in the film Onvoorwaardelijk. De movie Het Leven van Geert Groote was finalist at the New York TV & Film Festival 2016.
Theatre
Bob was on stage in the main theatres in Holland and Belgium in the hitmusical Monty Python’s Spamalot by Eric Idle, in Aïda by Guiseppe Verdi at the Dutch National Opera and in de theatre show Het Orkest van de Eeuw, accompanied by The North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra (NNO). Besides this he performed and co-created many theatre performances in the alternative cirquit in The Netherlands and Belgium.
